The Rainbow Community
“The Rainbow Community and Friends”, is a gathering of a LBGTQ+ friends and their allies who desire to grow, empower and understand themselves and others in Christ’s Love.
The Rainbow Community Facebook Page is open to all who are and are not necessarily affiliated with the Oasis, but want to gain more knowledge in who they are in Christ, and how God views and loves the LGBTQ+ community, etc. It’s a place where we all can share books, videos, thoughts, while still maintaining the vision and heart of the Oasis of the Valley. You are welcome to invite people to this Facebook Group, though they will be prompted by Facebook, when attempting to join to fill out a short questionnaire as to why they’d like to be a part of the Oasis Rainbow Facebook Group.
Rainbow and Friends is a group affiliated (members and friends) with the Oasis of the Valley. It’s a gathering of LBGTQ+ and their allies who desire to grow, empower and understand themselves and others in Christ’s Love. We will have in-person/zoom meetings with the LGBTQ+ Group and Allies/Friends quarterly on the last Sunday of January, April, July, and October. But! The “Rainbow and Friends” WhatsApp is available to those connected, 24/7. Connect!
The Rainbow Community is a group that is a safe place for the LGBTQ+ community. It is a gathering just for LBGTQ+ who desire to grow, empower and understand themselves in Christ’s Love. The Rainbow Community meets on the last Sunday of every month, and will be present in the quarterly gatherings with “Rainbow and Friends”. Connect! NOTE: Because we want to keep the in-person/Zoom and WhatsApp communities safe and private; if you or someone you know would like to be a part of either “Rainbow and Friends” or “The Rainbow Community”, let us know and Pastor Christina or Mitzen will reach out to them to make sure they are a good fit for either the group.
